Biography

Maryam is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, art educator, author, and art performer based in New York City. Originally from Iran, she is a first-generation immigrant whose artistic journey took a transformative turn upon moving to the United States. While she had worked as a designer for many years, her passion for painting truly blossomed in an environment that embraced freedom of expression. The creative liberty she found in the U.S. provided the foundation for her to explore and develop a unique artistic voice.
